AGAVE PROGRAMS "Stories
of Arizona" Stories of Arizona | Stories of Arizona 2002
Agave Productions, Inc., produced a 13-part series called Stories of Arizona. It's based on oral histories featuring a diverse group of subjects, from Official Arizona Balladeer Dolan Ellis to unique bookshop keeper Winn Bundy . . . from architect Bennie Gonzales to the Harvey Girls of Winslow. The 13 segments aired from June through September 2002 on KAET-TV, Channel 8, the PBS affiliate in Phoenix, as part of their award-winning program Horizon. The programs were also broadcast on KUAT-TV, Channel 6, the PBS affiliate in Tucson. Stories of Arizona 2002 was made possible in part by a gift from Bill and Sandy Miller and Tom and Kathy Chauncey.
