Pam Knight Stevenson has more than 30 years experience
in television news and documentary production. She owns
and operates Pam Stevenson Communications, an
independent television/video production company that
specializes in historical, environmental, educational
and public issue projects. Major clients include
KAET-TV
(PBS affiliate in Phoenix), Arizona State
University, Arizona Science Center,
Salt River Project,
Museum of Northern Arizona, Sahuaro Ranch Foundation and
Sojourner Center. Recent television productions include
Hopi Quilts, Desert Wildflowers, ASU Research Review and
Books & Co.
Stevenson's work has received numerous awards including
regional and national Emmy Awards, Arizona Press Club
Awards, an American Bar Association Silver Gavel, a
Gabriel Award, National Federation of Press Women
awards, International Association of Business
Communicators and Telly Awards.
She has served as Manager of Production for
KAET-TV, with
responsibility for supervising the production and budget
of all local programs. She worked for the Phoenix CBS
station for 15 years prior to that, including four years
as Managing Editor of the news department. She has
produced numerous programs for the Copperstate Cavalcade
Series, documentaries about the people and places of
Arizona, sponsored by Phelps Dodge Corporation.
Stevenson also edited a newsletter for the Arizona First
Amendment Coalition for three years and authored the
book, "Grand Endeavors: Vintage Arizona Quilts and Their
Makers" which won the 1992 Border Regional Library Book
